It has been revealed that it was ArtePiazza who were tasked with creating and developing the retro-themed 2D mode in the newly released Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition. The team have previously worked on a number of Dragon Quest related titles including Dragon Quest Rivals, Opoona, and the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS versions of Dragon Quests IV-VII.
